i recently snagged some polaroid film which I plan to shoot intermittently though the summer. these were shot back on my birthday, in harvard square. the film is Impossible Project Color Shade 600. I love the peach tones of these two photos. it’s odd, because the bug was actually peach in color, but the ball jars were decidedly more blue in tone. I guess my camera envisioned these two as a pair and the second came out peach.

we are back home after an amazing 4th of july in falmouth.
sunday was the PERFECT day: we woke to gorgeous weather so we rented bikes & cruised
down the bike path six deep, to woods hole. when we got there we had lunch and some afternoon
beers at fish monger…so, so good! with a lovely fuzzy feeling we hopped back on the path to
falmouth. ate some ice cream there and laid in the grass for a bit. around dinner time we wandered
over to missy’s aunt’s for a bbq. it was great to finally meet her fam. as the sun faded it was back up
the hill to watch the fireworks! they were spectaular and right over the balcony on which we sat.
it was a great weekend. slowly i drift back to reality…

i was recently invited by the lovely sfgirlbybay blog to join a new website called pintrest.
here’s how victoria of sfgirlbybay describes it: “pinterest is a visual bookmarking site,
where you can save images you find while browsing the web and organize them into
collections, called pinboards.” it’s truly an amazing tool, i must say. i feel like i can be
easily overwhelmed by all the visual creativity and beauty on the web. printrest is
great for collecting all those gems and storing them in one virtural jewelry box of sorts.
to kick off pintrest, sfgirlbybay asked us to create a pinboard illuminating
the theme of ‘what home means to you’.
