it was on our first day on martha’s vineyard that just before sunset a thunderstorm started to take shape. we were wandering around Edgartown harbor and eventually on down water street as the light got more and more intense. the bright white of the houses and sail boats popped of the peach sky and slate blue harbor water. eventually as we made our way onto lighthouse beach the storm passed over us, without dropping very much rain. it was then that mother nature put on a real show…
